the option card is inserted.
X16DS1 option card
The X16DS1-V3 option card provides 16 additional 1.5 Mbit/s (DS1) interfaces.
The X16DS1-V3 option card is plugged into the P1 connector as described in “Front
view without cover” (p. 4-3). Physical interfaces to the additional DS1 ports are 16
RJ45 connectors for the use of shielded twisted pair cables.
The following figure shows the block diagram of the X16DS1 option card.
