Overview
This test checks the correct cable installation. The cables mentioned below must be
connected for a proper system working. All the other cables are optional depending on
the used option cards and external equipment.
Checks
Check that the following cables are connected:
• Unit power cables
• Grounding cables
• Fan power cables (if fan unit is available)
• Fan alarm cables (if fan unit is available)
• MDI/MDO cable (optional)
• Timing cable (optional)
• EOW cables (optional)
• Tributary cables (optional)
• Fiber cables (optional).
