Usage Guidelines
• This command allows an operator to generate a loopback message for the specified MEP.
• This command signals the MEP that it should transmit loopback messages and detect the presence or
lack of the corresponding loopback reply(s).
• Note that a loopback message is used for fault verification.
• This command is used to validate the connectivity between Maintenance End Points (MEP) and Main-
tenance Intermediate Points (MIP).
