• Global user account lockout defaults are as follows:

Length of time during which failed
login attempts are counted.
user lockout-window 0—all attempts are
counted
Length of time a user account
remains locked out of the switch
before the account is automatically
unlocked.
user lockout-duration 0—account remains
locked until manually
unlocked
Maximum number of failed login
attempts allowed during the lockout
window time period.
user lockout-threshold 0—no limit to the num-
ber of failed login
attempts
