Configure Port 3/1 as a Network Port on PE1 and PE2
Port 3/1 is a VLAN Stacking network-port with vendor TPID of 0x8100 and legacy BPDU support for
STP enabled. The port carries traffic associated with SVLAN 100 and 200.
Follow the steps below to configure the setup described for port 3/1:
1 Configure port 3/1 as a network-port using the vlan svlan port command as shown in the example
below:
-> vlan svlan port 3/1 network-port
2 Configure a vendor TPID value of 0x8100 for traffic egressing on port 3/1 using the vlan svlan port
vendor-tpid command as shown in the example below:
-> vlan svlan port 3/1 vendor-tpid 8100
3 Enable legacy BPDU support for STP on port 3/1 using the vlan svlan port legacy-bpdu command as
shown in the example below:
-> vlan svlan port 3/1 stp legacy-bpdu enable
4 Associate SVLANs 1001, 1002, 1310, 1320, 1399, and 1400 to port 3/1 using the vlan svlan port
svlan command as shown in the example below:
-> vlan svlan port 3/1 svlan 100
-> vlan svlan port 3/1 svlan 200
Note. Port 1/1 employs port-level VLAN Stacking. Port 2/1 employs port-VLAN-level VLAN Stacking.
