Using FTP Logging Into the Switch

You have to enter a valid user name and password for the host you specified with the ftp6 command, after
which you will get a screen similar to the following display:
Name:Jsmith
331 Password required for Jsmith
Password: *****
230 User Jsmith logged in.
Note. It is mandatory to specify the name of the particular IPv6 interface, if the target has been specified
using the link-local address.
After logging in, you will receive the ftp-> prompt, where you can execute the FTP commands that are
supported on the switch. For further information refer to the OmniSwitch CLI Reference Guide.
Note. You must use the binary mode (bin) to transfer image files via FTP.
