Air lter
Accumulated dust in the air filter (3) will reduce engine efficiency. Increase
fuel consumption and allow abrasive particles to pass into the engine.
Remove the air filter (3) as often as necessary to maintain a clean condition.
1. Remove air filter cover (3) by rotating the air filter knob in an
anti-clockwise direction, and then remove the cover. (Fig AL/AM)
• Lightsurfacedustcanreadilyberemovedbytappingthelter.
• Heavydepositsshouldbewashedoutinsuitabledetergent.
• Squeezeouttheremainingwaterandallowtheltertocompletelydry.
• Addadropofthinoiltothelterandreplaceit.
2. Replace the air filter cover (3), and close it by rotating the air filter knob in
a clockwise direction until secure. (Fig AL).
• Theairlter(3)shouldbechangedafterapproximatelyevery50hoursor
sooner when used in high dust environments.
