− Pull the fryer pan out of the appliance (see Fig. 1).
− Fold up the protective fl ap

over the release button
and press the release button to remove the frying
basket from the fryer pan (see Fig. 2).
− Place the frying basket into the fryer pan so that the
handle catch fi ts into the recess on the fryer pan and
clicks into place.
− Fill the frying basket with the food (see Fig. 3).
− If you would like to keep two foods separated while
cooking, place the divider

into the groove on the
opposite side of the frying basket (see Fig. 4) if
necessary. For more information on the recommended
fi ll levels, see the table in section “Setting the appliance”
on page 18.
− Hold the fryer pan fi rmly and push it from the front until
it is completely inside the appliance (see Fig. 5).
