6.6.2 Extra Flushing Procedure
If the differential pressure across the filter increases, the filter might be clogged. If the
filter is equipped with the differential pressure control system (optional) a flushing
sequence will be initiated automatically.
If the filter does not have the differential pressure control system and the timer based
flushing is not activated, please do as below:
• Press the extra flushing/flushing push button in order to initiate the flushing.
• The timer based flushing sequence can be adapted using the time selector
switch inside the panel in order to optimize cleaning.
• If it does not help, then prepare for filter shut-down and perform service
procedure.
6.6.3 Shut-Down Procedure
1 STOP the filter on the control panel push button.
The actuators will return to normal position now. The STOP (filter system/system
run) push button will flash until the actuators have returned completely at the end
position
2 Shut off or isolate water supply.
3 Electric Actuators:
Turn the safety switch OFF at the junction box (optional) or at the control panel.
The safety switch shall be padlocked to avoid activation from other people.
4 Pneumatic Actuators:
Disconnect air-supply from the Control panel. Service can now be conducted on a
filter without turning OFF the control panel main power supply.
WARNING
If service is performed on the filter without disconnecting or isolating the
power/air – unexpected movement can occur with personal injury as
consequence.
