5.3 Direction of Rotation
The direction of flow is dictated by the direction
of rotation of the drive shaft. Reversing the
direction of rotation will reverse the flow
direction. Top and bottom shaft drive pumps
have opposite flow directions as illustrated.

5.2 Pump Shut Down Procedure
1. Turn the pump off.
2. Isolate the pump/drive unit from all power
and control supplies.
3. Close the pipework valves to isolate the
pump.
4. If the pump is to be dismantled refer to the
dismantling section.
