Chapter 5 Configure the Adapter for Direct Connection, Rack Optimization, and Enhanced Rack Optimization in RSLogix 5000 or Logix Designer Software
3. Select your adapter (in this example, we use the 1734-AENT/B) from the
list and click Create.
The New Module dialog opens.
4. Select the General Tab and enter the module details, noting that we used
the following values.

The Module Definition dialog opens.
Name POINT_IO_Adapter
IP Address 10.88.70.2
Note that the slot field is disabled because the slot is automatically
0 for the 1734-AENT/B adapter.
