Updating the Device
To update the Stratix® 5950 Security Appliance, you must:
•Update ASDM
•Update ASA
• Back up the controls license
•Update SFR
• Restore the controls license
Updating ASDM Software
From the ASDM Home dialog, follow these steps to update the ASDM software
image.
1. Obtain the latest ASDM image from the Rockwell Automation
support site: https://compatibility.rockwellautomation.com
.
2. Choose Tools>Upgrade Software from Local Computer.
3. In the Upgrade Software dialog, choose ASDM from the
Image to Upload pull-down menu.
4. To find the ASDM software image on the local personal computer, click
Browse Local Files. The file name appears in the Local File Path field.
