Chapter 3 Configure the Security Appliance
Add a Rule
To add a rule, follow these steps.
1. From the Default Action pull-down menu, choose an Intrusion
Prevention option. We recommend Balanced Security and
Connectivity.
2. On the Rules tab, click Add Rule.
3. Set rule Name to Block_CIP_Admin.
4. From the Action pull-down, choose Block with reset.
5. On the Applications tab, under Application Filters>Categories, check
CIP RA Admin, then click Add to Rule.
