Network Topologies
The following sections contain two examples of network configurations that
use the AT-8124XL switch.
Standalone Configuration
Figure 3 illustrates an AT-8124XL switch in a standalone network topology
for a group of heavy traffic users. The end stations, consisting of a variety of
workstations, servers, and printers operating at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps,
are connected to the switch without crossover cables.
