Section XI: Management Security 1211
NO SERVER-BASED AUTHENTICATION RADIUS
Syntax
no server-based authentication radius
Parameters
None.
Mode
Global Configuration mode
Description
Use this command to disable remote authentication of manager accounts
with the RADIUS client. You must use the local manager accounts to
manage the switch when remote authentication is disabled.
The switch retains the configuration settings of the RADIUS client when
remote authentication is disabled.
Disabling remote authentication of manager accounts does not interrupt
802.1x port-based network access control. To disable 802.1x port-based
network access control, refer to “NO AAA AUTHENTICATION DOT1X
DEFAULT GROUP RADIUS” on page 771.
Confirmation Command
“SHOW RUNNING-CONFIG” on page 129
Example
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# no server-based authentication radius
