The Aging Interval field at the top of the table displays the aging timer of
the MAC address table.
The Switch Forwarding Database displays the static and dynamic unicast
MAC addresses the switch has stored in the table. The first address is the
MAC address of the switch. The columns are defined in Table 20.
The Multicast Switch Forwarding Database contains the multicast
addresses. The columns are defined in this table.

Parameter Description
VLAN The ID number of the VLAN where the
port is an untagged member.
Port The port where the address was learned
or assigned. The MAC address with port 0
is the address of the switch.
MAC The dynamic or static unicast MAC
address learned on or assigned to the
port.
Fwd The status of the address. MAC
addresses have just the status of
Forward, meaning that they are used by
the switch to forward packets.
(unlabeled) The type of address: static or dynamic.

Parameter Description
VLAN The ID number of the VLAN where the
port is an untagged member.
MAC The multicast MAC address.
(unlabeled) The type of the address: static or
dynamic.
Port Maps The tagged and untagged ports on the
switch that are members of the multicast
group. This column is useful in
determining which ports belong to
different groups.
