FACTORY-DEFAULT
erase factory-default
Overview This command erases all data from NVS and all data from flash excluding the
following:
• The current release file and its /flash/.release file
• The backup release file and /flash/.backup file
• v1 license files /flash/.configs/.swfeature.lic
• v2 license files /flash/.configs/.sw_v2.lic
The device is then rebooted and returns the device to its factory default condition.
The device can then be used for automatic node recovery.
Syntax
erase factory-default
Mode Global Configuration.
Usage This command is an alias to the atmf cleanup command.
Example To erase data, use the command:
Node_1(config)# erase factory-default
This command will erase all NVS, all flash contents except for
the boot release, and any license files, and then reboot the
switch. Continue? (y/n):y
