MODE
SELECTION
IN
A
COMBINED
SYSTEM
When
the
7915M
is
connected
to
another
Alpine
head
unit,
follow
the
procedures
below
for
changing
modes
of
operation
between
head
units.
1.
If
combined
with
an
Alpine
DAT
player
with
an
independent
tuner
mode
select
button,
any
playback
mode
can
be
selected
by
pressing
the
desired
function
switch
on
any
unit;
i.e.;
CD
or
tuner,
etc.
CD
play
can
be
activated
by
inserting
a
disc.
2.
If
combined
with
another
source
unit
that
does
not
have
an
independent
tuner
mode
select
switch,
the
interaction
of
the
7915M
will
depend
on
the
circuitry
of
that
unit.
For
example,
if
the
other
unit
does
not
provide
a
“pause
out”
signal,
you
may
have
to
press
the
Pause
button

on
the
7915M
when
switching
from
CD
play
to
a
function
of
the
other
unit.
