Personal POI guidance
You can display the Personal POI data (POI warning data/Custom POI
data) on the map screen by updating the information via the USB
memory.
An alarm can be set to inform you of when you are nearing a POI
warning location. For details on how to update and set the Personal POI,
see “Personal POI Setup” (page 105).
Example of displaying Warning data
• Warning POI guidance is provided when you are driving. Manoeuvre
the guidance is provided only when you are approaching from the
direction specified.
• Warning POI guidance is provided 600 m (600 yards) and 200 m
(200 yards) before the POI on motorways/toll roads, and 250 m (250
yards) and 80 m (80 yards) before the POI on non-motorway roads.
