An iPod® can be connected to this unit.
iPod connection can be made in two ways using the USB connection
cable, or directly connecting the iPod using the FULL
SPEEDTM

When the IVA-W505 is connected by using the cable, the controls on
the iPod are not functional.
• Only 5th generation iPod, the first generation iPod nano and
the second generation iPod nano can

connected via a
USB device.
• Set AUX+ to OFF when an iPod
is
connected via the FULL
SPEED
™ connection
cable

do this, follow the procedure below.
Push the foot brake to bring your vehicle to a complete
stop at a safe location. Engage the parking brake.
2 Keep pushing the foot brake and release the parking
brake once then
engage
it again.
3 While the parking brake
is
being engaged the second
time. release the foot brake.
For
automatic transmission vehicles. place the transmission lever in
the Park position.

• The unit can

used with the fourth generation and above
