EN Instructions for use Alpine PartyPlug
Warning!
Don’t use the earplugs without the music filter
installed as this may lead to permanent hearing
damage.
The hearing protector is intended to protect the wearer
from hazardous noise levels. The wearer should ensure
that the earplugs are fitted, adjusted and maintained
in accordance with this Instruction Manual. Any other
uses are not intended and therefore not allowed. Always
wear the earplugs when in a noisy environment, without
interruption. Slightly pull up your ear and with your other
hand insert the earplug into the ear, until the protector
fits snugly. Do not place the earplug too deep in the
ear. Improper fit, improper use or failure to follow the
instructions of this device will decrease noise reduction
eectiveness, increase the risk of hearing damage and
aect the lifespan of the reusable earplugs. Alpine is
not liable for any damage arising from misuse. Check
the working order of the earplugs regularly and store
them in the original, clean packaging. Service life of this
product is 5 years from manufacturing date (date can
be found on packaging). The stated life of the product is
only an indication and depends on many external and
uncontrollable factors and should not be considered
a warranty. Clean the earplugs regularly with mild
soap and lukewarm water. Dry o after cleaning. The
reusable earplugs can be used approximately 100
times. Sudden or rapid removal of hearing protection
may cause damage to the eardrum. When this device is
worn as directed, the level of noise entering a person’s
ear is approximated by the dierences between the
A-weighted environmental noise level and the lesser and
greater NRRs.
Caution: For predominantly low frequency noise
environments in which the dierence in the measured
C-weighted and A-weighted noise levels (dBCdBA)
exceeds 3 dB, the user is directed to the enclosed graph
of the variability of noise reduction with noise spectra to
determine the level of protection.
This product may be adversely aected by certain
chemical substances. Further information should
be sought from the manufacturer. Although hearing
protectors can be recommended for protection against
the harmful eects of impulsive noise, the Noise
Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of
continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator
of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such
as gunfire.
Hereby, Alpine, declares that this product is in
compliance with the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425.
