400S Controllers
A separate -15V supply is
required if Fast I/O module
require it.
Enhanced Controllers
Power supply modules type 8917
or 8918 are incorporated into
Fast I/O Subracks if a Fast I/O
Driver is fitted. Their maximum
wattage rating is 350W and 320W
respectively.

1.13. Site Requirements
The area in which GEM
80 equipment is to be installed must fulfil the following
conditions:
(1)
An environment must be maintained as detailed in the 'Environment'
section of this chapter.
(2)
A power supply must be available as detailed in the 'Power Supply
Requirements' section of this chapter
(3)
Adequate access must be available for maintenance and
commissioning
