10. Insert the Factory Permanent Settings Symbol ticket into REPM so the
barcode is beneath the imager.
11. Type the letter Z in the Command field and press Send. The REPM will beep
multiple times during the update. If no beeps occur, reposition the ticket and
press the Send button.
12. Remove the Factory Permanent Settings ticket and insert the imager Version
Verification ticket into the REPM so the barcode is below the imager.

13. Click in the Command field with Z still present and press Send.
14. Verify the factory configuration is:
Configuration: MDI-3100*9000000

15. Remove the scanner verification ticket.
16. Press Cntrl. + D to enter the Scanner menu download section and navigate
to the REPM scanner folder. Select the Boot.bin file and click Open.
17. The boot loader will start to download onto the scanner
18. Press Cntrl. + D to enter the Scanner menu download section and navigate
to the REPM scanner folder. Select the .bin file and click Open.
19. It will take about 1-2 minutes to update the firmware
WARNING: Once the update is started, do NOT press Cancel.
Note: If the application displays Timeout Warning, the application has
not timed out. Please allow 2-3 minutes for the update process to
complete.
