Payment Options
3.1 Credit Card Transaction (OPUS-4700; 4800 Only)
This procedure describes the credit card transaction process. After the ticket
has been inserted and read, the following screen will be displayed:
[Fig. 3.1A] Insert the payment method
1. The voice prompt will play the message, “The fee is xxx dollars. Please pay
the parking ticket by credit card (OPUS-4700), store validation coupon, or
FlexScan validation coupon.” (if option installed)
2. Insert the credit card into the credit card reader.
3. Pull the credit card out of the credit card reader. The card will be read.
4. When the fee has been satisfied, the transaction screen will disappear and
the payment completion screen will display.
5. If receipt is set to Automatic, the receipt will be printed at the end of the
transaction. If receipt is set to Manual, you must press the Receipt button to
receive a receipt.
6. The Terminal will vend the gate and the customer may exit the facility.
Note: If the credit card is denied, a new card may be used.
