1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
appliance is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be
included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the appliance in water or other
liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by children or by persons with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. Close
supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before
assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug
and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts. Do not attempt to defeat any safety interlock
mechanisms.
6. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause
re, electric shock or injury.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
9. Always make sure juicer cover is clamped securely in place before motor is turned on.
Do not unfasten clamps while juicer is in operation.
10. Be sure to turn switch to OFF position after each use of your juicer. Make sure the
motor stops completely before disassembling.
11. Do not put your ngers or other objects into the juicer opening while it is in
operation. If food becomes lodged in opening, use food pusher or another piece of
fruit or vegetable to push it down. When this method is not possible turn the motor
o and disassemble juicer to remove the remaining food.
12. Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
13. Do not operate without the pulp container in place.
14. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
15. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
16. Do not place the appliance near or on hot stoves, ovens, or other heat sources.
