9.7 Protection function and fault output
OUT2
The protection function serves for protecting the motor
against destruction e.g. at external strain. Conrma-
ble protection functions turn o󰀨 the output stage when
achieving a marginal value. This is announced by the
fault-output OUT2. The output is performed as a PNP-
transistor 24 V-pulse switching, with a max. permissi-
ble current strain of 250 mA. Thereby, following logic
is essential:

For conrmation of a fault message, the motor must
be set into status “OFF” (IN0, IN1 = 0). If the cause
of fault is debugged (e.g. switch-on voltage threshold
achieved, temperature o.k.), this is shown via OUT2 =
1, and the motor can be started again.

9.7 Schutzfunktionen und Meldeausgang
OUT2
Die Schutzfunktionen dienen dem Schutz des Motors
vor Zerstörung z.B. bei extremer Belastung. Quittier-
bare Schutzfunktionen schalten die Endstufe bei Er-
reichen eines Schwellwertes ab. Dies wird durch den
fault-Meldeausgang OUT2 angezeigt. Der Ausgang ist
als PNP-Transistor 24 V-plusschaltend mit einer max.
zulässigen Strombelastung von 250 mA ausgeführt.
Dabei gilt folgende Logik:

Zur Quittierung einer Störmeldung muss der Motor in
den Zustand „AUS“ (IN0, IN1 = 0) versetzt werden.
Ist die Fehlerursache beseitigt (z.B. Einschaltspan-
nungsschwelle erreicht, Temperatur o.k.), wird dies
durch OUT2 = 1 angezeigt und der Motor kann wieder
gestartet werden.
