2.1.1 Create a New File - Pin Brinell Testing (Optional feature)
If the BOSS is to be used for measuring
impressions from the Pin Brinell, the PIN scale should be
selected,
The Test Load menu will now include all the variations of PIN designations and indenter combinations, for
example F-STD-IM-STl, for “F” Pins, Standard Indenter, Impact method, measuring steel.
2.1.2 Open an Existing File
1)
Select
New Test File, Click “
Open”. All test files will be list. Click on file to choose
from
the
File
Menu.
NOTE:
When you open a new file with another file already open,
the
current
file
will be
automatically
saved
and
closed.
