Do you have a question about the AMS Venus T5c DS-2350C and is the answer not in the manual?
Segmentation of logically sequential data into multiple hard disks for concurrent writing. Data becomes invalid if any hard disk fails.
Replication of data onto separate hard disks in real-time for continuous availability. Data is identical on each disk.
Combines Stripe and Mirror modes. E.g., two pairs of drives act as mirrors, then these mirrors are striped.
Data is mirrored across all hard drives. Useful for copying data simultaneously to multiple drives.
Concatenates multiple hard drives into a single large-capacity drive.
Generates parity blocks. In RAID 3, parity is on one drive; in RAID 5, it's spread across drives.
All configured hard drives exist and are recognized individually. T5 is not in rebuild condition.
