The Atmosphere Mini™ Air Treatment System is an advanced air purification device designed to improve indoor air quality. It comes pre-installed with a single filter that integrates three distinct treatment stages: a pre-filter, a carbon filter, and a HEPA filter, ensuring comprehensive air cleaning. The system is accompanied by a power cord for immediate use.

Function Description:

The Atmosphere Mini™ operates by drawing air through its front cover. The air then passes through a multi-stage filtration process. The initial stage, the pre-filter, is responsible for capturing larger, lint-like particles. Following this, the carbon filter stage works to reduce objectionable odors, including those from tobacco, cooking, and pets. The final and most critical stage is the HEPA filter, which effectively removes 99.99% of particles as small as 0.0024 microns from the air passing through it. After filtration, the purified air is discharged upward through a grill located on the back of the unit.

The system incorporates a unique internal air circulation mechanism called the dual-part Intelligent Flow Assembly. This design directs airflow within the unit in a specific pattern, minimizing resistance and noise while maximizing overall airflow efficiency. This intelligent design contributes to the system's ability to clean rooms up to 200 sq. ft. (18.6 m²) effectively. The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) for smoke, dust, and pollen is no less than 130 cubic feet per minute at speed 3, which is a key metric for evaluating the performance of air treatment systems.

The Atmosphere Mini™ is engineered to effectively reduce airborne bacteria, mold, viruses, fungi, asbestos, dust mites, and their by-products. Its allergen removal capabilities have been substantiated by third-party testing, making it suitable for individuals with allergies. The system is also designed for energy efficiency, consuming low power during operation.

Usage Features:

To begin using the Atmosphere Mini™, users must first remove the unit from its packaging and unwrap any protective material. The front cover of the unit can be removed by gently pulling up on its uppermost edge until it disengages with an audible snap. Before initial operation, the filter, which is shipped in protective wrapping to maintain its effectiveness, must be removed from its packaging. It is advised to perform this step away from carpets or light-colored surfaces, as carbon dust may be generated during this process. Once unwrapped, the filter should be securely reinstalled, and the front cover reattached.

The unit should be placed in the desired room, near an electrical outlet, and away from vents and high-traffic areas. It is crucial to ensure that the space above the unit remains clear to allow for proper airflow. After positioning, the power cord is plugged into the unit and then into a wall outlet. The unit can then be powered on.

For enhanced control and monitoring, users can download the Atmosphere™ Connect mobile app from Google Play® or the App Store®. This app provides additional functionalities and allows for remote interaction with the device. Manual registration of the Atmosphere Mini™ unit can also be done online via the provided web address.

The Atmosphere Mini™ is designed for ease of use, with clear instructions for setup and operation. It is important to note that the system is intended for use in typical indoor environments and is not recommended for areas with high oil particle concentrations, such as factories, or continuous tobacco smoke, like bars and restaurants, as these conditions can lead to reduced performance and shortened filter life.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of the Atmosphere Mini™. The most important maintenance task is filter replacement. The unit's display module provides indicators for filter life, alerting users when a replacement is needed. Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, including filter replacement, the unit must always be disconnected from its power source.

When replacing the filter, users should follow the same steps as the initial setup: remove the front cover, carefully remove the old filter, dispose of it properly, and install a new filter, ensuring it is securely in place before reattaching the front cover.

The exterior of the unit should be cleaned using appropriate methods. It is explicitly stated that solvents or harsh chemicals should not be used to clean the unit, nor should aerosols be sprayed directly onto it. This helps preserve the integrity of the unit's materials and internal components.

To maintain optimal airflow, it is important to keep the unit's openings free from excessive dust, lint, hair, or other debris. Users should avoid placing items on top of the unit or near its front cover, as this can obstruct airflow.

The power cord also requires attention. It should not be run under carpeting, covered by throw rugs, or routed under furniture or appliances. The cord should be arranged away from traffic areas to prevent tripping hazards. Users should never cut, damage, or modify the cord, or place it under or between heavy objects. The cord should also be kept away from heated surfaces. If the cord or plug becomes damaged, it must be replaced with a new one obtained from the manufacturer or service agent, and the unit should be returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

The internal parts of the unit are not user-serviceable. Any repairs should only be performed by authorized service personnel. If the unit is not working properly or has been dropped or damaged, users should contact Customer Service for assistance. Children aged 8 years and above, as well as individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, can use the appliance under supervision and after receiving instructions on safe use and understanding the associated hazards. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision. Children should also be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
