Why does my Andrew James Kitchen Appliances vacuum sealer bag lose vacuum after being sealed?
- AAmanda BuchananAug 1, 2025
If your Andrew James Kitchen Appliances vacuum sealer bag loses vacuum after being sealed, wrinkles, crumbs, grease, or liquids may cause leaks along the seal. Reopen the bag, wipe the top inside, and smooth it out along the sealing strip before resealing. Also, moisture or juices from the food may be present; cut open the bag and reseal it, or use a new bag. For foods with excess liquids, freeze them before vacuum sealing. Items with sharp edges may have punctured the bag, so cushion sharp edges with paper towels.
