Why is there good picture but no sound on my AOC LCD TV?
If your AOC LCD TV shows a good picture but has no sound, check the volume control. Ensure that MUTE is not activated ( by pressing MUTE or VOL + so that disappears from the screen). If you are using HDMI equipment, make sure that the audio output setting of the connected equipment is set to PCM. This TV's HDMI inputs support PCM 32, 44.1 and 48 kHz.
What to do if my AOC LE40D3142 remote control does not operate?
If the remote control for your AOC LCD TV isn't working, check the polarity of the batteries or replace them. Point the remote control at the remote control sensor located at the front of the TV. Fluorescent lamps can interfere with remote control operation; try turning them off. Also, make sure the remote control sensor area is clear of any obstacles.
