Operation Instructions:
1. Plug in the power. There are two switches on the top of the unit, one to control the
power and another for the hot and cold settings.
2. Turn the power switch on and the power LED will illuminate. Select whether you would
like hot or cold lamination.
3. Preheat time is approximately 3-5 minutes depending on ambient temperature. While
the unit is preheating, the ready LED will be red. Once preheated, the ready light will
turn green and you can begin laminating your items.
4. Place the item you wish to laminate in a laminating pouch. Insert the laminating pouch,
pre-sealed end first, into the laminating machine process.
5. While laminating your items the green ready LED may turn off and back on as this is
normal during the laminating process.
6. It is recommended to use a carrier which is supplied by most laminating pouches. The
carriers help to keep the rollers clean from the laminating adhesive and protect your
document from jamming in the machine.
ATTENTION:
This laminator can reach high temperatures. Please operate in an open, dry place away from
heat sensitive materials. Do not place anything on or near machine when in operation. After
laminating, please set machine to cold mode and allow to run for 2 minutes to allow rollers to
cool. This helps to prevent the rollers from warping. To clean your rollers use laminator roller
cleaner pads available from your local office supply store. Please follow instructions included
with cleaner pads. The Limited Warranty applies to the laminator only. Apache Laminator is
