About iPod mini Software 1.0
Everything you love about iPod just got tinier! iPod mini lets you bring 1,000 songs
everywhere you go in an anodized aluminum body about the size of a business card.
Available in five brilliant colors, iPod mini lets you carry three days’ worth of music—
including all your recent purchases from the iTunes Music Store—when you’re walking
around town, working out at the gym, commuting to work, riding in the car, going on
vacation, dancing around your living room, and going anywhere else you can imagine.

iPod mini software 1.0 is compatible only with iPod mini.

System Requirements
* A PC with built-in FireWire or USB 2.0, or a FireWire or USB 2.0 card
* Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or later, or Windows XP Home or Professional
iPod mini Software and Other iPod Models
iPod mini software is not compatible with other models of iPod, including original scroll
wheel and touch wheel iPods and iPods with a dock connector. The iPod mini 1.0
Updater will not update or restore other models of iPod.
Some versions of iTunes may mistakenly offer to update your other iPod with iPod mini
software. If this happens, agree to let it try. The updater will notice the incompatibility
and fix the installation so that the wrong updater will no longer be offered as a choice for
updating other iPods.
