The AA500P allows the user to enter up to
three lines of text to be printed at the top of
each test report. After pressing the
key in
the Time set up screen (see page 4 of the User
Manual), you may set up the test report head-
line text using a simple Roman character set.
To program the headline text at any time, enter
the Setup mode. Advance through the set-up
of: printer language, year, date, and time using
the
key. After completing the time setup,
‘A1’ is displayed in the top left of the screen.
You may now enter the characters for the fi rst
line of text.
Use the planning sheet provided to correctly
code each character. Write the desired
characters in the top row for each line of text,
and using the character table, write the code
number below each character (A).
The line of text, character position and chosen
character code are shown on the display (B).
To enter the text, use the following steps:
1. Use the
< and > keys to choose the
character code for the fi rst character
position.
2. Press the
key to select the character
code and advance to the next character
position.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the desired text
for the line is complete.
4. Enter character code ‘00’ at any time
to advance to the next text line. Filling
a line completely (20 characters in line
A1; 30 characters in lines A2 and A3) will
automatically advance the input display to
the next line.
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until all text lines
are completed.
Enter character code ‘00’ on line A3 to save all
values and return to normal mode.
