POSITIONING
The device detects the room tempera-
ture, therefore several factors should be
taken into account when choosing an in-
stallation site. Install the device far from
sources of heat (radiators, sunlight, fi re-
places, etc.) and draughts or doorways
and windows, which could affect the
temperature readings.
It should be installed approximately 1.50
metres above the fl oor level.
WARNING
Installation should be performed by a
qualifi ed technician.
Prior to connecting the timer-thermo-
stat to the boiler, cut off the power to the
boiler.
When drilling the wall to install the de-
vice, be careful not to damage any elec-
trical wires or existing piping.
INSTALLATION
- Fix the timer-thermostat base to the
wall in the chosen position, using the
screws supplied with the kit (Fig. 1)
- Insert the wires in the appropriate slot
and connect them to terminals A and
B.
- Connect the timer-thermostat termi-
nal to terminal TA1 on the boiler P.C.B.
(Fig. 2).
- Position the timer-thermostat onto the
base by inserting the two bulging ends
in their appropriate housings (Fig. 3).
- Turn the timer-thermostat downwards
and press it against the wall (Fig. 4).
