4.1 Installation options with boiler products
Type 1
Replacement of the gateway in a system with basic heating and RC and RD acti-
vated (Fig. 1)
Ariston basic heating system equipped with BridgeNet BUS protocol, in which the
user wishes to replace the gateway to enable the Ariston Net Remote Control and
Remote Assistance services.
Required operations:
- Install the gateway by connecting it to the heating system via the BridgeNet BUS
connection

Activation of RD alone in a basic heating system
(Fig. 2)

Ariston basic heating system equipped with BridgeNet BUS protocol, in which the user
wishes to activate Remote Assistance alone, without installing the Ariston Sensys accessory.
Actions required (fi g.3):
In this confi guration, any ON/OFF temperature regulation accessory already present
in the house can be left installed. Therefore it is only necessary to:
- Install the gateway, connecting it to the heating product via the BridgeNet BUS
connection.
