Maintenance Features

- Turning off Water and Electricity: Always turn off the water tap after each wash to prevent wear on the water supply system and leaks. Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply before any cleaning or maintenance work.
- Cleaning the Machine: The exterior and rubber parts can be cleaned with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water. Solvents or abrasive products should not be used.
- Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser Drawer: The drawer should be regularly removed (by pressing a lever and pulling it out) and washed under running water to prevent blockages and ensure proper detergent dispensing.
- Drum Maintenance: The porthole door should be left ajar after each wash to prevent unpleasant odours from forming inside the drum.
- Cleaning the Pump: The machine is equipped with a self-cleaning pump that does not require regular maintenance. However, small objects (coins, buttons) may fall into the pre-chamber that protects the pump. To access and clean the pre-chamber, remove the kick strip on the front of the machine, position a container to collect drained water, and unscrew the cover. After cleaning, replace the cover and kick strip.
- Checking the Water Inlet Hose: The water inlet hose should be checked at least once a year for cracks. If cracks are found, the hose should be replaced immediately to prevent bursting due to high water pressure.
- Manual Door Opening: In case of a power cut, the door can be opened manually by following a specific procedure: unplug the machine, ensure the water level is below the door opening (drain excess water if necessary), remove the front covering panel, pull a tab to unlock the door, and then open it.
