You Are Away from Your Desk
This section explains the different options provided by your phone when you want to leave your desk.
Using the Absence Key
You want to leave your desk and set up your phone for your absence.
Your phone has an Absence key. It is factory set as a call diversion key. By simply pressing the Absence
key you can activate a call diversion.
Diverting a Call
You want to leave your desk. Calls for you are to be diverted to a different destination (e.g. phone or
pager).
You can divert incoming calls to a different destination using call diversion.
Note
The topmost configurable key is factory set as an Absence key.
Enter the phone number to which the call is to be diverted.
Press the Absence key.
The display shows and "DIVERTED TO:". The call diversion is activated.

To activate the last diversion destination: Press the Absence key only.
The display shows "DIVERTED TO:". The call diversion is activated.
Note
You can also reconfigure the Absence key.
When you are back at your desk: Press the Absence key.
The call diversion is deactivated. The phone goes into the idle state.
Press the Menu key repeatedly until the display shows "DIVERT".
DIVERT Press the "DIVERT" Foxkey.
/\ Press the "/\" Foxkey repeatedly until the display shows "DIVERT TO SUB-
SCRIBER".
OK Press the "OK" Foxkey.
Enter the person's phone number.
