14. TUV is only used in Europe. Set Dipswitch 10 up for all North American applications.
15. Set Dipswitches 11-12 UP. These are the safety/test input and output switches which allow the sensor and
Unislide to communicate (see section 3-7 of manual).
16. Set Dipswitch 13 as desired. Down = Bidirectional function, UP = Unidirectional function (see sect. 3-8 of
manual.
17. Set Dipswitch 14 ON for simultaneous output (see section 3-9 of manual). Exception: On Access Control
ONLY, on the interior or non-restricted access side sensor, set dipswitch 14 OFF.
NOTE: Dipswitch 15 is not used.
18. Slide the FUNCTION KEY switch (6) to OPERATION mode.
19. On the Unislide Control set the Besam Function Selector Dipswitch 7 to ON (up).
Quick Reference
Guide
1. Mount the sensor about 1/8” above the bottom of header. Not
above the bottom of the plank cap.
2. Slide FUNCTION KEY switch (6) to SETTING mode.
3. Slide Dipswitch #16 to ON (see section 3-9 of manual).
4. Set sensitivity as needed using Dipswitches 1-2, low, middle, high or super high.
10. Set Presence Detection Timer (learn time) as needed using Dipswitches 3-4.
Select 30 sec., 60sec., 180sec., or innity (see section 3-2 of manual).
11. If two or more sensors are mounted near each other and overlap (e.g.,
two single slides sharing the lock jamb) set the frequency different for
each sensor using Dipswitches 5-6 (see section 3-3 of manual).
12. Select how many sensor rows are to be active using
Dipswitches 7-8 (see section 3-4 of manual).
13. If door is ghosting set immunity Dipswitch 9 up. Detection pattern may be smaller, check for ANSI
A156.10 compliance and readjust angles and sensitivity if needed.

Note: All sensors are sent out adjusted
to maximum settings and will need to
be eld adjusted.
