Creating the trace log
Create the Mobile PD trace log file
The trace log file is saved in the tracelog.txt format.
Note!
The programming device must remain switched on: If a problem appears while
creating the trace log, make sure that the key remains in the Mobile PD to keep it
powered. When a Mobile PD is shut down, the trace log is lost.
1 Insert the USB on-the-go cable with the USB memory stick in the USB port of
the Mobile PD.
2 Remove the key from the Mobile PD.
3 When the Mobile PD detects that the key is removed, it will restart and save
the trace log onto the memory stick. This is indicated by the „done“-led
blinking.
4 Wait until the Mobile PD‘s „done“-led stops blinking and switches to steady
on.
5 The USB on-the-go cable can now be removed, which will cause the Mobile PD
to shut down.
The Mobile PD will shut down.
If all steps are successful, a file named tracelog.txt will be created in the root
folder of the USB memory stick.
