The escape door control terminal 1338
Models 1338-14 and 1338-20
Characteristics:
· Stand-alone operation mode. The control terminal takes over complete control
and monitoring of the escape door.
· Escape door unlocked using integrated emergency button
· External release of the escape door, for example by a fire alarm system.
· Permanent release using internal key push-button or an external contact, such
as a switching timer.
· Temporary release using internal key push-button or externally connected
push-button
· Escape door locking status signalled by door status indicator
· Alarm status indicated by an optical and audible signal
· One relay contact each for additional “Locked-Unlocked” displays and for an
external alarm message.
· Operation in combination with a control panel 1332-10/11.
Model 1338-20
1338-20 models operate in two alternative operating modes. The operating
mode is set via DIP switches.
Characteristics:
· In operating mode 1, the control terminal operates as a stand-alone device.
· The control terminal takes over complete control and monitoring of the
escape door
· Operation must take place at the control terminal or via an external control
panel, for example 1332.
· In operating mode 2, the control terminal functions as a bus participant on the
door control bus (DC bus).
· In this operating mode, the DCB controller also enables an extended operating
and monitoring option from a central location.
