Temporary release
A locked door can be unlocked using the temporary release function for the time
set on the rotary switch S1 (Tab. 3 page49).
The green LED flashes at a ratio of 9:1 for a temporary release.
Unlock
The temporary release is activated
· by pressing the key pushbutton in the locking
direction or
· by activating via terminals 11/12 or 17/20.
When the temporary release is active, the green LED flashes in a ratio of 9:1.
Deactivating the temporary release
The temporary release via the key switch can be deactivated via DIP switch S4-2
(Tab. 2 page48). Activation via terminals 11/12 or 17/20 cannot be
deactivated.
Ending the temporary release
If the door is opened and closed again, the temporary release is ended and the
door is locked.
Pre-alarm and alarm
If the door is kept open beyond the set temporary release time, a pre-alarm is
triggered first and then an alarm.
A pre-alarm is ended by closing the door. An alarm must be acknowledged. The
acoustic alarm remains active for the set duration and is automatically switched
off. The yellow LED will continue to indicate the alarm until acknowledged or
released again.
Activating the temporary release via external buttons
If the temporary release is activated via an external button on terminals 11/12,
the release time can be restarted with each key press.
The door is permanently unlocked via a closed switch contact until the contact is
opened. The green LED lights up continuously. The door also remains unlocked
when opened and closed again.
The temporary release time is counted each time the button is released or the
switching contact is opened.
The door is locked again after the lapse of the temporary release time.
