4. Repeat the steps above for each extension cabinet you have.
5. If you are adding an extension cabinet to an existing system, the door lock cable from the existing cabinet will
have originally been connected to the Control Pod. This cable must now be connected to the Interface PCB in the
top of the main system in the same way as the extension cabinets. A door lock extension cable is provided to
extend the existing door lock cable.
NOTE: The existing system’s tamper switch cables can remain connected to the Control Pod. V3.2 and
above PCBs have tamper switch connectors, however these are for future use and must be left
disconnected until supported. If you have V3.1 or lower of the Interface PCB, the extension system
tamper switches are not connected.
For an extension system, disconnect the original green connector from the door lock cable, and connect the wires
to the terminal block of the provided door lock extension cable, matching the wiring colours. Connect to other end
of the extension cable to the green connector referencing the note below regarding PCB version numbers.
NOTE: The Door lock wiring differs between interface PCB versions. Check the interface PCB version
and door lock connector wiring using the diagram below.
6. Refer to the Extension Systems Overview
section earlier in this document for details on configuring the DIP switch
addresses and Jumper Links.
