Working on the door leaf: The mechatronic VERSOCLIQ
®
locking cylinder
and the mortise lock must be dismantled and removed when working on
door leafs, for example when drilling or milling.
Protect against the ingress of dirt, chips, filings or moisture: The
mechatronic VERSOCLIQ
®
locking cylinder can be damaged by chips, filings
or dirt during assembly. In outdoor areas and in dust-laden environments,
the locking cylinder must be protected with the dust and rain cap from
ASSA ABLOY after assembly.
Using force can destroy the locking cylinder: The use of force, for ex-
ample hitting with a hammer, can destroy or damage the locking cylinder.
Install tension-free: Depending on the installation situation, the
mechatronic VERSOCLIQ
®
locking cylinder must be installed in such a way
as to be free of stress. The cylinder fixing screw must therefore only be
tightened by hand.
The mechatronic VERSO CLIQ
®
locking cylinder must have suitable
dimensions: The mechatronic VERSO CLIQ
®
locking cylinder is produced in
numerous cylinder lengths (“Technical data”, page 33). Before assembly, al-
ways check that the mechatronic VERSO CLIQ
®
locking cylinder has the right
cylinder length for the door leaf thickness. The mechatronic VERSO CLIQ
®
locking cylinder may only protrude above the hinge surface by a maximum
of 3 mm on the inside and outside.
Assemble and adjust according to DIN EN 15684: All components must
be assembled and adjusted in such a way that conformity with
DIN EN 15684 is ensured.
