locking cylinder
Length of the cylinder fixing screw
A cylinder fixing screw with a length of 85 mm is suitable for locks with a
backset of up to 75 mm. The following applies for locks with a larger
backset:
Length of the cylinder fixing screw = backset + 10 mm.
Assembling the profile cylinder
Prerequisites: The mortise lock must be completely assembled.
Always observe the illustrated assembly instructions („Abbildungen“,
Seite 74). The locking cam position for profile cylinders can be changed if
required (“Optional: Changing the position of the locking cam”, page 75).
1 Position the profile cylinder in the profile cylinder cut-out.
2 Secure the profile cylinder with the cylinder fixing screw.
The cylinder fixing screw supplied is suitable for locks with a backset
of up to 50 mm. The following applies for locks with a larger backset:
Length of the cylinder fixing screw = backset + 10 mm.
3 Only tighten the cylinder fixing screw by hand.
4 Check the locking cylinder for proper functionality and ease of
movement. To do this, actuate the locking cylinder several times with
the appropriate key.
 You have assembled the profile cylinder.
