Unloading Conveyor
In some cases, conveyors are
shipped disassembled. The
method of assembly will vary
depending on the equipment
and resources available.
Typically a mobile crane will
be needed to hoist conveyor
sections and supports into
place.
If the conveyor arrives
disassembled use the
following procedure to unload
the conveyor.
1. Unload smaller
components rst: idlers,
conveyor belt, fasteners,
and hardware box.
2. Be careful not to drop the
conveyor belt when
unloading. Store the
conveyor belt with the core
horizontal until ready to
install. Storing conveyor
with the core vertical will
cause belt to become
deformed, making it dif cult
to train.
