1. Clean and coat take up
screw rods with NLGI2
grease.
2. Repeat procedure for
opposite side.
Take-up Screw Rod
(200 hours)
Gear Reducers
(2500 hours or 6 months)
The oil in the gear reducers
should be changed every 2500
hours or six months - whichever
comes fi rst. To change the oil,
use the following procedure.
1. Drain oil from the gear
reducer.
2. Flush with kerosene.
3. Clean magnetic drain plug.
Refer to page 52 for gear
reducer positions.
