Gigabit LAN solution
The on-board LAN controller is a highly integrated Gigabit LAN controller. It
is enhanced with an ACPI management function to provide efcient power
management for advanced operating systems.

The ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 allows users to restore corrupted BIOS data from a

The ASUS Q-Fan technology smartly adjusts the fan speeds according to the
system loading to ensure quiet, cool, and efcient operation. See page 2-31 for

Fanless design
ASUS has devoted special efforts to address the thermal issues across the
motherboard, and most notably the areas that reside the CPU, power, Northbridge
and Southbridge. The heat sinks and strategic board layout were tailor made to
dissipate heat in the most efcient manner. With the addition of Stack Cool 2, users
can even overclock without a noisy, bulky fan.
