Fan power (3-pin FANSEL)

This jumper allows you to connect either a 3-pin or a 4-pin fan cable

plug to the CPU fan connector (CPU_FAN). Set this jumper to pins 1-2

if you are using a 4-pin fan cable plug, or to pins 2-3 if you are using a

3-pin plug.

Set this jumper to DC mode (pins [2-3]) when using a CPU heatsink and

fan with a 4-pin power cable that do not comply with Intel

’s PWM fan

specifications.
