• Werecommendthatyouconnectahigh-denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduletothis
connectortoavailofthemotherboard’shigh-denitionaudiocapability.
• Ifyouwanttoconnectahigh-denitionfrontpanelaudiomoduletothisconnector,
settheFrontPanelTypeitemintheBIOSsetupto[HDAudio].Bydefault,this
connectorissetto[HDAudio].
Chassis intrusion header (4-1 pin CHASSIS)
Thisheaderisforachassis-mountedintrusiondetectionsensororswitchConnect
oneendofthechassisintrusionsensororswitchcabletothisheader.Thechassis
intrusionsensororswitchsendsahigh-levelsignaltothisheaderwhenachassis
componentisremovedorreplaced.Thesignalisthengeneratedasachassis
intrusionevent.
Bydefault,thepinlabeled“ChassisSignal”and“Ground”areshortedwithajumper
cap.Removethejumpercapsonlywhenyouintendtousethechassisintrusion
detectionfeature.
TPM connector (14-1 pin TPM)
ThisconnectorsupportsaTrustedPlatformModule(TPM)system,whichcan
securelystorekeys,digitalcerticates,passwords,anddata.ATPMsystemalso
helpsenhancenetworksecurity,protectsdigitalidentities,andensuresplatform
integrity.
Serial port connector (10-1 pin COM)
Connecttheserialportmodulecabletothisconnector,theninstallthemoduletoa
slotopeningatthebackofthesystemchassis.
USB 2.0 connectors (10-1 pin USB78)
ConnectaUSBmodulecabletoanyoftheseconnectors,theninstallthemodule
toaslotopeningatthebackofthesystemchassis.TheseUSBconnectorscomply
withUSB2.0specicationsandsupportsupto480Mbpsconnectionspeed.
